Research Interests
Caitlin PhD research explores LGBTQ+ experiences of the UK prison system, questioning how queer bodies navigate, (re)negotiate and resist prison spaces within everyday life via queer worldmaking practices. They are also interested in the affective and atmospheric conditions of carcerality, having previously conducted research that interrogated the embodied, emotional and affective dimensions of increased security within public transit spaces.
