Responsibilities
- Develop strategic research priorities for the continued success of the CGWG, including the schedule for mid-term events and the International Conference for Carceral Geography
- Organise and chair committee meetings and the Annual General Meeting
- Attend RGS Sub-committee meetings and training events
- Liaise with CGWG members, the CGWG committee, and external agencies and colleagues across the world
Research interests
Lauren’s research interest lie at the intersection of political economies of immigration enforcement, borders, and humanitarian responses to migration crises.
